    One Year Later

Posted by Lee on Jul 13th 2022

I just took my 2015 Silverado on a 670 mile road trip.
    I have the 6l80.
I drove from Washington St. into Canada for some fishing.
The trip included a 4500 foot elevation change, 85 to 90 ambient temps, and some long down hills.
I use my transmission to help with braking. 4th gear for several miles and I always drive in 5th gear to avoid AFM activation.
There was 24 miles of old logging roads that included 7 degree grades.
My transmission temp never exceeded 185 on the worst roads in 4x4 at 5 mph for miles.
On the highways the transmission temperature stayed between 160 and 170 even in stop and go traffic.
    This thing works as advertised.

    Great Upgrade!

Posted by Craig on Sep 1st 2021

I wish I would have found this a few years ago, but anyway, love this simple upgrade! The trans temp stays 20 to 35 degrees cooler than the 190+ degrees from the factory! Even in stop and go traffic in 100 degree day in Oklahoma, it stays cooler! Great simple upgrade, only 20 minutes to install with basic technical skills.

    8L90 SURE-COOL COOLER FLOW SYSTEM

Posted by Jason Meehan on Aug 19th 2021

Awesome product. Completely works as advertised. Installed one in my 8L90 in my 2016 GMC Sierra 5.3 Denali. Quick and easy install. My normal trans temp was around 185-190 driving around in 90-95 temps with high humidity in the air. Now my new normal is around 140-145. Just do this mod, it's a no-brainer!

    Best bang for buck

Posted by David Chaloupka on Aug 8th 2021

easy install, 10 minutes max. Brought temp down from 195 to 153 with 98 degree Texas sun. This should be a factory service advisory for all GM junk

should be like this from factory

Posted by mathew keim on Jul 31st 2021

Product works as deacribed, 10 min install. I went from 180*-190* down to 140*. I would highly recommend doing this ASAP. The first killer of a trans is heat. Wish i would of hurd of this product sooner.

    Sure-Cool Assembly for 6L80

Posted by Lee on Jun 11th 2021

I ordered the kit. Global sent the order really quickly. Excellent customer service. Then it gets interesting.
My kit was missing the red spring. Literally before I could talk to anyone at Global they had, in conjunction with Superior, identified that the spring had been omitted. The spring was already on the way to my address.
The assembly went together as designed. So far so good. No leaks and temps 20 to 30 degrees lower with a quicker warm up. Should be standard equipment on these trucks.
YMMV but Global and Superior are at the top of my list for transmission parts.
