Powerpack Installation Instructions
Stack-up is the same method as OE. The waved snap ring retains the Belleville return spring. Install the bottom apply plate with the dished side toward the apply piston. Install a friction plate followed by a steel plate and continue until the last plate installed is a friction plate. Finally install the top pressure plate and selective snap ring supplied in this kit.
Using air (40 PSI) apply the rear clutch several times to seat all of the clutch pack elements. With a feeler gauge, measure between the bottom of the selective snap ring and the top of the pressure plate. Clearance should be .025” to .050” (0.64 to 1.27mm). Clearance should be correct with the .060” (1.52mm) snap ring provided. However, there are selective snap rings available if needed.
