This is a high quality E4OD transmission upper and lower valve body spacer plate gasket set and works with Ford E4OD transmission models between 1989 and 1995.
The gaskets you will receive in this kit have been updated to correct two extremely common problem found in early E4OD transmissions.
- E4OD transmissions experienced cross leaks in the valve in the valve body to case area. To correct this issue these gaskets have been updated and thickness increased from .008" to .015".
- To fix the delayed engagement problem in Ford's E4OD transmission, some orifices have been modified. These new E4OD valve body gaskets wiil fit all current model years from 1989 to 1995 and are marked with an orange stripe.
