With TransTec® Gasket Wizard™, you can quickly and thoroughly remove gasket paper from separator plates in as quickly as 15-20 minutes! Instead of spending hours scraping the gasket paper off only to scratch and gouge the plate, simply soak the separator plate in the Gasket Wizard solution and watch the paper peel right off!
One (1) baggie of Transtec Gasket Wizard remover
the main picture is of a pail but most guys/gals just need one baggie
1. add 1 packet of gasket wizard to 1 gallon of cold water, do not add to hot water
2 submerge bonded separator plate in solution and allow to soak for 4-6 hours, or
until adhesive is dissolved.
3. when the bonding adhesive dissolves, the gasket material will release from the separator plate
4. rinse the plate with clean water
*gasket wizard can be used until performance diminishes. follow all precautions.
