This is a new upgraded steel style speedometer gear housing bullet that replaces the aluminum ones that leak and wear out. It includes both he o-ring and the gear stem seal. Fits most 7/8'' hole Chevy, Muncie, Powerglide and TH350 transmissions using 17-22 type tooth gears (Muncie uses 22-25T gears).

I am still confused. Does this fit or not on a 1965 corvette with a power glide trans. Is the 1965 a 250 or 350? Corvette central says only the 1968-1978 for this one? I need help to get it right. Doug Haase
