This spring is meant to help eliminate TCC regulator valve bore before it happens. If your bore is already damaged this will not fix your transmission issues. It works for most set ups from 1993-2003. This spring is longer than stock and will take some force to install it.

I think the product is great and it worked but I paid an extra $15 for 2 day shipping and still took 8 days to get to me

Can't rater this product yet. It hasn't been installed yet but I'm sure it will probably do what it's supposed to do.

correct p1870 code
This spring does what it’s designed to do — bypass pwm valve action that over time develops a P1870 Transmission Component Slipping Code. I’ve not had the code come back, so thus far it’s doing it’s job. The spring is super tight, so be prepared to muscle the plug back in place.
